NOTICE OF ELECTION
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF BUCHANAN, COUNTY OF BERRIEN, STATE OF MICHIGAN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A STATE GENERAL ELECTION will be held in all predicts of the city of Buchanan, County of Berrien, State of Michigan on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH, 2024, for the purposes of electing the President and Vice-President of the United States of America, U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, State Representatives, State Board of Education; the University of Michigan Regents; Michigan State University Trustees; Wayne State University Governors; Justice of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals; 2nd Circuit Court Judge; 5th District Court Judge: Probate Court Judge; County Offices, City Commission and School Board Members and Lake Michigan College Trustees.
Full Text of the ballots may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office at 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI 49107. A sample ballot may be viewed at www.cityofbuchanan.com under Departments/ Elections or www.mi.gov/vote.
On Election Day, Tuesday, NOVEMBER 5, 2024, polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and that day the election will be held at the following locations:
PCT 1 City Hall, 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI 49107
PCT 2 Redbud City Center, 131 S Oak St, Buchanan, MI 49107
During Early Voting, Saturday OCTOBER 26, 2024 – Sunday, NOVEMBER 3, 2024, polls for the electors of Buchanan City will be located at the SOUTH COUNTY EARLY VOTING SITE, at the SOUTH COUNTY BUILDING, 1205 N. FRONT STREET, NILES, MI 49120 during the following times:

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact their local city clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the city/township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
