Michigan Main Street (MMS) is coming to Buchanan! Board Formation Process:

The City of Buchanan in partnership with the Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce will receive applications to serve on the MMS Board of Directors. The BACC Board of Directors will receive applications and make a recommendation to the City of Buchanan Commissioners as to who should serve on the board. The Commissioners will then approve or deny the chamber’s recommendation.

Board Responsibilities:

New Buchanan MMS Board Members will need to attend three 60min-90min long training sessions about the Michigan Main Street Program. They will be responsible for determining the goals and procedures for the MMS program in Buchanan. Likely, this will include monthly meetings at a time to be determined.
