Notice of Registration for the state General Election to be held on November 5th, 2024
NOTICE OF REGISTRATION
FOR THE STATE General ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH, 2024 TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF BUCHANAN, COUNTY OF BERRIEN, STATE OF MICHIGAN: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of the City of Buchanan who is not already registered may register to vote at the office of the City Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms may be obtained at their City Clerk’s Office or at mi.gov/vote and mailed to their City Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration with their local clerk or at www.expressSOS.com.
The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 21st, 2024.
After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.497) at the City of Buchanan Clerk’s office, located at 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI 49107 at the following times.
Regular business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Buchanan residents will be voting for the following offices and proposals:
Vote for Offices: President and Vice President of the United States, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, Representative in State Legislature, Governor of Wayne State University, Trustee of Michigan State University, Regent of the University of Michigan, Member of the State Board of Education, County Prosecuting Attorney, County Sheriff, County Clerk, County Treasurer, County Register of Deeds, County Drain Commissioner, County Surveyor, County Commissioner, Justice of the Supreme Court, Judges of Court of Appeals, Circuit Court, Probate Court, District Court, Buchanan City Commissioners, Lake Michigan College Trustee, Buchanan Community Schools Board of Trustees
