Cemetery Sexton

The City of Buchanan is seeking to fill the Cemetery Sexton position to coordinate and oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the Oak Ridge Cemetery.  The successful candidate will perform administration, ground maintenance and burial related activities, along with other work as assigned.  This is a full working level position. Office management, customer service, computer usage and knowledge of standard business software skills will be required. 

Competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, life/DI, deferred comp, pension, paid vacations and holidays.  Must possess reliable transportation and be able to work Monday-Friday.  Some Saturdays required.  Must be able to obtain and maintain CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.  Work requires agility & ability to walk, stand for lengthy periods and perform semi-skilled manual labor tasks.
