NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF BUCHANAN 2nd Public Open House

From 6pm-7pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Buchanan American Legion Post 51, 403 E. Front Street, Buchanan, MI, 49107, the City of Buchanan will be hosting a second Public Open House to review a proposed Infrastructure & Streetscape Plan for Buchanan’s 2023-2025 Downtown Project. The proposal, in its current form, includes a possible closure of the Rynearson/Redbud Trail intersection. The purpose of the Public Open House is to inform Citizens of the proposed plans and solicit input and feedback regarding the public’s opinion on the project prior to a vote of the City Commission to decide whether to accept the plan as presented or make changes prior to approval. Those who want information on the project but are unable to attend the Open House may email bwall@cityofbuchanan.com with the subject line “Downtown Project Info” and may also visit www.facebook.com/buchanandowntownproject. A Public Hearing to formally accept comments regarding the proposed project will be held at 7pm on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Buchanan City Hall, 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI, 49107.
